Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.

Ezekiel 33:6

In recent years, I have felt the need to evangelize more than usual, talk about God more and tell people about his saving grace, love and mercy.

We see scriptures that talk about the end of times being like birth pains and as in birth pains, they get harder, stronger and faster, and don’t stop. That is how it’s going to be in the last days. Things are going to get harder, stronger and faster, and it will not stop.

As we see these days approaching and the signs and wonders, I believe our evangelizing will become harder, faster and stronger. Some people find it annoying, repetitive, and they get frustrated hearing this over and over.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains.

Mark 13:8

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Mark 16:15

As Christians, we are called to fulfill the great commission. It’s in our DNA, so-to-speak.

We have a heavenly Father that loves us so much and we have salvation through him and eternal life, so why wouldn’t we want to share that good news? Especially when we see the battles going on. Spiritual battles, political battles and social battles.

Look around, evangelizing and preaching the gospel is needed now more than ever.

We as believers recognize the urgency of this, along with the fact that it is a mandate from the Lord.

Some folks think that as Christians we don’t care about the happenings around the world, because these things make us happy, recognizing the signs and wonders and knowing that our time to be with our Savior is close.

The truth is, Christians are broken over these events taking place. We know it’s a spiritual battle. Scripture is very clear about that.

Our battle is not against flesh and blood.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Ephesians 6:12

We know the alternative to those that reject the message of the cross.

The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.

John 12:48

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 1:18

So, just to reiterate, as the times get worse,  my evangelizing and that of other believers, will pick up. That’s our job and we have a heart for the hurting.

Pray, fast and wait on the Lord, and occupy until He arrives.

Many Blessing’s,

Connie
