Hope in dark times.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Proverbs 18:10

Regardless of the chaos surrounding our lives, we have to trust God to help us through.

The moment Satan appeared in Garden and tempted Adam and Eve to sin, God handed down his sentence. This sin started the fall of man. As God cannot allow sin in his presence.

Because of the fall, we have mortality and a ton of  other horrific events in the world. Things seem to be getting worse by the day. This is why we need to lean on God.

For believers, there is obviously hope, eternal hope. Hope of a life with Christ, even after we’re gone from this earth.

In the meantime, here on earth, we have to deal with all the hardships we face. Scripture is all about God’s love, and each of these verses speaks to that love. And it helps get through these hardships.

These verses remind us that we can trust God’s plan for our lives, even when we don’t understand it.

By praying and trusting Him, we can find peace and strength during even the most challenging times.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

Matthew 21:22

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Romans 8:28

Place your trust fully in him. Don’t place all your faith on things like money and possessions. Our trust should be in God alone.

Anything else will let you down.

“Those who trust in their own reasoning are fools, but those who walk in wisdom will be kept safe.”

Proverbs 28:26

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. –

Deuteronomy 31:8

God does speak to you through His word. Even in your darkest moments, He can still be trusted.

Many Blessing’s,

Connie
