‘God Cannot Be Mocked’—Dodgers’ Blake Treinen Criticizes Team’s Decision To Honor Drag ‘Nun’ Group

I am getting wore down here in the newsroom today. It is only 3:47am and the news is…….ugh! What has happened to the Dodgers??? Horrible!

CHURCHLEADERS REPORTS:

Blake Treinen, 34-year-old relief pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, released a statement Tuesday (May 30) expressing disappointment in the organization’s decision to invite the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

The 2020 World Series Champion, who is currently on the 60-day injured list while recovering from right shoulder surgery, sent the statement to his friend and Let Us Worship leader Sean Feucht so that Feucht could share it. Treinen doesn’t personally use social media. More Here

If I was the Commissioner of baseball I would shut down the Dodgers for awhile, have them forfeit a weeks worth of games. Hit the owners in their HUGE pocket books! The Dodgers are way off track on their behavior!

THE CHRISTIAN POST: CatholicVote has launched a $1 million ad campaign in response to the Los Angeles Dodgers’ partnership with a group of drag queens and trans-identified performers called Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The campaign urges “all people of goodwill to express their opposition to your celebration of anti-Catholic bigotry and mockery.” While the Dodgers initially walked back plans to honor the group during an upcoming “Pride Night,” they reinstated their plans after meeting with representatives of the organization. Full Story.

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.

The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.
