At least two people have been confirmed dead in Sullivan, Indiana, following severe weather in the county, Indiana State Police Sgt. Ames told WTHI-TV. Several tornado-warned storms rolled through Indiana on Friday night into Saturday morning, leaving behind a path of destruction for some areas. Sullivan County, Indiana, was hit especially hard by a possible tornado with the county EMA Director, Jim Pirtle, describing the damage as “terrible,” according to WRTV. Many people were reportedly trapped in their basements following the storm, according to Pirtle. Nearby Owen and Johnson Counties also reported notable damage, including in the Whiteland area. AccuWeather Live Updates
