“You will seek me and find me; when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you.”

Jeremiah 29:13

The earth’s perfectly engineered distance from the sun, the unique chemical properties of water, DNA, and a child’s birth are just a few things that point us directly to a Creator.

Psalm 19:1 -The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

Matthew, Mark, John and others, wrote that they saw the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

If there were five of us in a room and there was  an incident, and the police were to come get our stories, they’d get five different perspectives of said incident. Why?

Because nobody is going to remember word for word or exactly what happened. People tend to remember things differently and some would call that a ‘contradiction in stories,’

When actually it was remembered from very different perspectives. All true, but different versions of that truth.

Many people believe things they ought not to, with little or no proof, but they’ll reject the notion of the resurrection.

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees told Jesus, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.” But he replied to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign. Yet no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah, because just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea creature for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment and condemn the people living today, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. But look—something greater than Jonah is here

Matthew 12:38-41

It wasn’t enough to have the Messiah right in front of them, they needed more proof, but He simply pointed them toward the biggest sign of all, His resurrection.

Acts 1:3 Says. After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

Then there’s this;

*AD and BC. AD is an abbreviation of anno Domini Nostri Jesu Christi, Latin for “in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ”.

The era we now call BC used to be known as “a.C.n.”, an abbreviation of “Ante Christum Natum”, which is Latin for “before the birth of Christ”.

Even time is measured by the birth of Christ.

There are lots of things that point to a creator. But you can’t take my word for it, you have to seek out scripture for yourself. There are Old Testament Prophecies that revealed what was to come.

For instance, Micah 5:2 – “But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village in Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel will come from you, one whose origins are from the distant past.”

Isaiah 7:14 – “All right then, the Lord Himself will choose the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call Him Immanuel – ‘God is with us.”

And obviously, they were prophesying  the birth of Christ.

Christians, including the twelve apostles, were willing to give their lives as martyrs for Christ, all dying in different, but horrible ways.

They were beheaded, crucified upside down, stabbed with spears, stoned and clubbed to death, sawn in half. It was absolutely heartbreaking. If you read Foxe’s book of the Martyrs, it shares many more stories.

People will die for what they believe to be true, but no one will die for what they know to be a lie. Why would anyone want to be martyred for a fictitious character?… that would be absurd

Study and research for this for yourself. It’ll be the best thing you’ve ever done.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

My prayer for you today is that you would see God’s glory and feel his presence.

Many Blessings,

Connie
