Jesus warned the disciples about the final days in Matthew 24

“At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.”

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables”

2 Timothy 4:3&4

Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold, but the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Matthew 24:10-14

Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 5:8 that Satan prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

But no worries, Jesus slays lions.

Jesus encouraged Peter: And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Matthew 16:18

It is extremely important that we know the word of God, that we study it and that we know God personally. The only way we are going to recognize a counterfeit is if we know the real thing.

Scripture tells us that we do not know the day or the hour of Christ return, but we will know the season.

Right now we see Easter items on the shelves, with the beautifully wrapped baskets. So we know that Easter is very near, we’re getting ready for it.

That’s how it is with what we see on the evening news, what we’re hearing around us and seeing around us. We don’t know when it’s going to happen, but the season is upon us, we recognize the season. Be ready for it!

Beware of false prophets and false teachers. They dilute the gospel to have their own way and to live life however they see fit. That is demonic and wrong.

It’s basically a way of trying to do whatever you want, live in sin and debauchery without having to answer to God for this evil lifestyle.

Scripture tells us in Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Steer clear of anything that denies Christ as sovereign Lord. That Denies him as the Head of the church. And that denies He is the only way to God.

The good news is, regardless of the evil and wicked spirit in this world, Jesus will continue to save sinners.

My prayer for you today is that you would hear Gods voice and let him lead you in the right path. That you’d be alert.

Many Blessings,

Connie
