The Bible is our life guide. I don’t know. Our lifeline to learning how to live as a Christian. It’s not only teaches us that, but our history as humans, creation, God’s plan for mankind, and more importantly, God’s plan for man’s eternity. Bible God gives us the blueprints of what a true spirit filled holy man looks like. That amazing blueprint is, of course, Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ the son of God, the one who would sacrifice himself for us. So we could be made whole again as a spirit filled human being. Our relationship will be repaired with God the Father if we turn from sin and call upon the name of Jesus Christ! But it doesn’t stop there, that’s why we need key biblical verses to help us live a Christ like life.
Today’s key verses are:
Matthew 22:37-39 (New Living Translation)
37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
Want to live Christ like? Then love the Lord your God, and love your neighbor as yourself. Which means you better love yourself and all those around you. Once again please use 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 as a reference for love in these verses.
Love is one of the greatest keys in all this. So today I want to encourage you to grab a journal or notebook and write these keys verses down. If you follow them, they truly will help you live Christ like life.
