Texas Coal Miner Works Double Duty to Save Unwanted Pets: ‘God Puts Us in Charge of His Animals’

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:
just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

By this all people will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.
John 13:34-35

Sharon and I have been taught so much from our doggies over the years. We love them like our children. Dogs teach us love and about the awesome creations of our LORD! I always say, We need a dog to run for President! They show us unconditional love, loyalty, protection, they sniff out danger, cancer, bombs, and drugs. Dogs are such an amazing creation by God. There is nothing like the love of children and dogs. THANK YOU LORD!

Pictured above is all our dogs, Brownie, Buffy, Reno and Daisy. Brownie, Buffy and Reno have passed on and left us with so much lobe and memories. We learned from them all, they have made us better people.

Man has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked are cruel.” This important verse suggests a Biblical division of people into two distinct types – those who are “righteous” and just are kind to their animals, and those who are “wicked” and are cruel to creatures under their care. (Genesis 24:19).

We are so blessed by this post from Tara Mergener of FAITHWIRE! PTL for Tara and FAITHWIRE!

MEXIA, Texas — It’s 3:45 a.m. on a chilly December morning in rural Mexia. John Liscano reaches out to shut off the alarm blaring next to his bed. Once again, morning came too quickly.

Like most days, there’s little time for him to rest before starting work at a coal mine about 30 minutes from his home.

As his family sleeps, John quietly puts together a lunch made up of leftovers, a sandwich with summer sausage and cheese, and a 6-pack of Coke Zero.  More Here
