KOB TV TRIBUTE: WWII Veteran and Medal of Honor Recipient Hiroshi Miyamura Laid to Rest


This is a precious report by Tamara Lopez of KOB TV News in Albuquerque! This story made me sad and joyful at the same time. Sad by Mr. Miyamura passing away, but joyful in seeing the tremendous tribute the Gallup community gave him. We can learn so much from the WWII generation.

GALLUP, N.M. – New Mexico native Hiroshi Miyamura passed away last week at the age of 97 after serving in World War II, and earning the Congressional Medal of Honor during the Korean War.
