Heart Felt Mental Health Check In Part 2

If you have not read part 1 I hope you will do so. I want to start by asking, how are you doing?

Just as I’ve shared before in previous writings. God sent Jesus to save all of us! He didn’t come to judge you and make you feel condemned. He came because we all were born sinners and needed a savior. We needed help, actually, we need/ needed hope. Hope that could only come from God. When we finally come to realize that we cannot do this life without Jesus Christ, that’s when our lives are truly going to change.

It’s a faith process, a mental process, and a physical process. It involves us letting go of what we can’t control and laying it all at the feet of a Holy God.  It’s when we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us and comfort us. It’s about surrendering and not allowing the enemy (Satan) to cause us to beat ourselves up. The goal of Satan and his fallen angels is to steal, kill, and destroy. His goal is to destroy our identities so that we won’t even know who we are as human beings.

John 10:10 New American Standard Bible

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life and have it abundantly.

Just as this powerful verse says. The thief only comes to steal and kill and destroy, but Jesus says that he came so that we would have life and have it abundantly, Amen! So that means if we turn our lives over to Jesus Christ, we will be protected. That when we asked Jesus Christ into our life, we get the Holy Spirit to live within us. And remember the word also says:

1 John 4:4 New American Standard Bible

4 …….. greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

So today, I not only want to reach out before some of you harm yourselves. But also, to share hope in Jesus Christ. And just as I mentioned in the beginning of this post, as a Military Veteran we all serve in different branches, but when it comes to going to battle, we team up and join forces. I want to encourage you to never fight those battles in your life alone. As I mentioned in previous writings, please find someone you trust and allow them in your lives. If you need prayer, ask, If you need someone to lend an ear, speak up. Life is too short. Don’t go through it alone. Please also let us know if you need prayers as well. Peace and love to you all.
