Faith, Hope and Encouraging Word By Jeanne Theriault

WHAT IS FAITH ?

Having faith is like when you plant a seed, knowing that it will grow into a beautiful flower. In order for it to blossom you need to water it, but of course it will take time, but yet you believe that it will grow though you do not see it.

Isn’t it just like God, you believe for something yet you do not see it. How can one get to a place whereas to believe God? You take His Word that has been planted in you , then you water it by reading His Word meditating and studying His Word. By that you are watering your seed that has been planted in you.

Hebrew 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

As you speak out His Word, then you hear and by hearing you believe. As you believe you will receive, then you will see God’s faithfulness. The Word of God does say that it displeases him when we do not have faith in him….

Hebrew 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Matthew 21:22 If you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. Like the flower, there are waiting periods, but God promises that his word will accomplish His will in our lives. He is a faithful God, we need to do our part by walking by faith and not by sight. Though not seeing yet believeing.

As His Word says we need to earnestly seek him for he will reward us. It is His will to come through for us. He wants us to have faith in him. Is  there anything that you have prayed for? Take heart God knows and God hears. We have to do our part to believe and have faith in Him , He will never let us down.
God promises that His Word will accomplish His will in our lives.

Hebrew 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God you will receive what he has promise.

So what is God’s will?

His will is for all to have faith, to persevere, to trust to seek him then we will receive His promise.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are Yes in Christ.

Remember His word stimulates faith and faith activates His power

Be blessed and encourage by the Word of God
