A Table Like No Other…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. One thing I love about coming to my own kitchen table every morning is to bask in God’s presence and write my morning prayer. He knows everything, sees everything and I can be real, transparent and talk things out with a God that loves me and loves people. I can bring it all to the table.
This morning on my side of the world it’s still dark outside and the leaves look still as the morning light shines through. It brings to mind the scripture from John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that we can put our trust in you. You are our redeemer. We thank you today for mercy and grace that we find at your table. Father, we love to dine with a God that is closer than a brother.
Father, may the light in us burn bright and may many come to your table today. It is at this table where we all will find forgiveness, new beginnings, love, joy, happiness, peace, and answers to life’s many questions.
Father, draw many to your table today, we pray. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8)
