From CBN:

JERUSALEM, Israel —It is quite a sight to see a group of cattle arriving at Israel’s busy Ben Gurion Airport.

A recent delivery of five red heifers from Texas to Israel is causing quite a stir. Talk is growing that their arrival is prophetic, and a prerequisite to the return of the Messiah.

Some rabbis believe the ashes of a red heifer are necessary for purifying priests to serve in a future Temple. Texas Red Heifers’ Arrival Stirs Prophetic Excitement in Israel

Dear friends,

On this eve of Rosh HaShana, the Jewish New Year, there is a feeling of excitement and optimism in the air as people go about choosing their pomegranates, apples and honey for their Rosh HaShana preparations, while “Shana tova ve metuka” or good and sweet wishes for Rosh HaShana can be heard in the streets!

The pomegranate symbolises righteousness, knowledge and wisdom, while the honey symbolises a wish for a sweet new year.

Most Jewish families will be spending this joyous occasion of celebrating the Jewish New Year in the synagogue and together around their dinner tables tonight.

The ICEJ extends love and blessings to the Jewish community during this special Holiday, and we pray for peace in Israel for the New Year!

Blessings from Jerusalem!
