Here’s my point: faithful Christ followers must work with urgency for moral and spiritual awakening not only for the sake of unrepentant sinners facing judgment but for our sake as well.
Transformational encounters with God empower our faith in the face of disease and disaster. And they lead sinners to repentance before natural consequences or divine punishments for their sins affect us, our children, and our grandchildren.
Jesus called us to “walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you” (John 12:35). Either we walk in the light of Christ or we are overtaken by the dark. You and I are moving forward with Jesus or we are moving away from him. The spiritual life is not a level road but a mountain: we are either climbing up or we are sliding down.
And as we go, so goes the nation we are called to serve as “the” salt and light (Matthew 5:13–16).
God’s Word is the final authority for faith and life.

Here in New Mexico the GOP candidate for governor, Ronchetti is not pro-life, he supports abortion up to 15 weeks! Horrible! What Would an New Mexico Abortion Amendment Say? Candidate For Governor Ronchetti Doesn’t Even Know! Many Republicans are scared to stand strong for God and His babies. Then you have GOP Lindsey Graham supporting abortion, coming out with his evil legislation! The GOP has a horrible problem of too much rotten fruit, they are becoming more and more like the DEMS. Did many Republicans drink the DEM’s Kool-Aid after Roe v. Wade was overturned? Do they think we are stupid and cannot see through their there motives? Many politicians are using God’s babies as pawns to get elected. God will judge all. Voting for a politician that supports abortion is very evil. I will not vote for any politician that supports killing God’s Babies! It would be so very ungodly!

Last Thursday (Sept 15), California Governor Gavin Newsom announced on Twitter that he was launching pro-abortion billboards in seven of the most anti-abortion states throughout the country. The billboards are part of Newsom’s re-election campaign for governor of California.

The miracle of the preservation of the Bible is one of the strongest lines of evidence for the veracity of Scripture. Have you stopped to appreciate how phenomenal it is that anything from the Christian past survives at all? The Christian church was terrorized for its first three hundred years. The fact that we have any early Christian documents is a miracle. By comparison, Herod the Great (c. 74 – c. 4 BC) had a secretary named Nicholas of Damascus, who wrote a Universal History of the Ancient World in 144 volumes. It is all lost to history. None of it survives.
When Paul wrote to Timothy, he admonished him to be fervently committed to the Word of God, “and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15). More Here
