FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:

“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”

Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live”

John 11:25

Heaven is the absolute goal of a Christian.

Life does not end upon death for the believer, it continues eternally in the presence of Christ.

At the moment of death, the believer is ushered into the presence of Jesus Christ! (I can’t wait)

The Bible says that when we die we enter immediately into God’s presence, if we belong to Christ.

The Apostle Paul stated that, “We are confident (of eternal life), I say, and would prefer to be absent from the body and at home and present with the Lord”

2 Corinthians 5:8

Paul also stated,

“I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far”

Philippians 1:23

We all know that death is inevitable, we know its just a matter of time before God calls us home. We do not know the day, time, or circumstances under which this event will occur, but we know that day is coming.

It won’t matter what your financial status, religious status, corporate status or academic status is, we’re all destined to leave this earth.

The good news is, if you know Christ, you’ll be ushered right to His presence .

Scripture tells us that God has set eternity in the human hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Throughout Scripture, we see that we do not cease to exist when our earthly bodies die.

God loved us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to live a perfect life and die a painful death on a cross in order for us to have eternal life in heaven

John 3:16

Jesus’ death paid for our sins, and this is the reason we can enter the throne of grace boldly and confidently!

When we get to heaven, Our pain, sadness, depression and loneliness will be gone. When we get to heaven, everything we do will bring us perfect joy and peace. No emptiness will be found amongst us.

We’re going to have the most exciting, joyous time we could ever imagine, because we’ll finally be home where we belong. We get to fellowship and reunite with those we’ve lost, those that went on ahead of us. That in itself should bring us joy.

Here’s just a glimpse of heaven found in the book of Revelation:

A river, clear as crystal, will flow from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Jesus) down the middle of the city. On each side of the river there will be a tree of life, yielding twelve kinds of fruit every month. The streets will be pure gold, like transparent glass. The walls of the city will be adorned with every kind of jewel, emerald, onyx, amethyst, topaz, etc.

There will be no need for a sun or moon. The presence of the Lord will shine bright enough.

“Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away…I am making everything new.”

And lastly, here is what Jesus said about getting into heaven and spending eternity with him:

“Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 5:20

“ I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”

John 10:28-30

Knowing, confessing and believing  in God, is the key here.

My prayer for you today is that you will accept him and spend eternity with him. That if you do not know him personally that you would seek Him.

Make sure you know him personally. It is not enough to know “about” him because your parents do or because you pray “sometimes.”

If I told you about my friend. All about their life, their children and their job… well, now you know OF them, you only know what I just told you, but you don’t know them personally, Right?

It’s very important you know God personally and know him well!

If you do not know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you’re going to heaven if you died today, please speak to a pastor or a Christian friend and do whatever it takes to know him!

Please don’t slip into eternity without knowing Him.

Many Blessings,

Connie
