The Royal Life…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was re-reading a prayer I wrote in January of 2022 about the Monday Morning Fill Up. I thank God that he uses everyday ordinary people like you and I to do great things. Fill us oh God, fill us up once again on this beautiful Monday morning.

I spent some evenings last week at Whited Bible Camp. I went there one time as a camper in my childhood. I remember the three outfits I had to take with me. On the first day I spilled ketchup on the white blouse and that took care of outfit number one. There was no hand washing that out. I finished the rest of the week with two dresses. It’s funny what you remember. One dress was red, and one dress was blue. At the end of camp in those years that seem so long ago, they chose a queen and a king. I remember someone telling me that I was nominated for queen.  I certainly was not chosen, nor did I have any desire to be. I never felt much like a queen in those days. I had no idea who my identity was in Christ Jesus. I didn’t even know if I was a wanted child, let alone a queen.

Today I can say with all the confidence in the world, that every life is wanted and every man a king and every woman a queen. Despite all of life’s many challenges rather rich or poor, it doesn’t identify who we are.

Ephesians 2 tells us because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved! And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for all you do for us. Father, thank you for fresh oil this morning. Fill us to overflowing. We can’t make it on yesterday’s oil, we need a fresh fill up. Thank you for the power to break chains across this globe today. As we journey the day, set us free and use us to set others free, we pray. Thank you for divine appointments and divine connections.

Father, never let us run out, or run on empty. Holy Spirit as we worship you this morning, pour in, so we can pour out from the overflow of our lives. Make us powerhouses for you and your glory alone. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Let him fill your cup to overflowing today. Drink deep this morning and share from your overflow.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. (Romans 15:13)

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. Isaiah 61:1

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Psalm 23:5
