ATTENTION CHURCH LEADERS! Young adults may be committed to Christ—but they’re not in church

Photo of Bethany Lutheran Church Near Bergen, Minnesota from Bob Hanson. This is the Church my Grandpa and Grandma, Floyd and Lean Caraway attended. I attended Church with them there a few times. Such a lovely Church. I miss Grandma and Grandpa greatly. They helped raise me up to be a preacher, it took me years, but I am here! Grandma spoke over me in 1974 that I would be a preacher! Glory!

From Ian M. Giatti of The Christian Post:

A strong majority of Generation Z and Millennials who say they have made a personal commitment to Christ do not attend church in person or online at least once a month, according to a new study.

The August edition of the “State of the Bible: USA 2022” report from the American Bible Society finds that 40% of Generation Z adults ages 18 and over attend church “primarily online.” They were followed closely by 36% of churchgoers ages 77 and up.

However, the report suggests that among Gen Z and Millennials who have made a meaningful commitment to Jesus, about 66% do not attend church either in person or online at least once a month. Story Here

How to Keep Political Division in America from Hurting the Church Community, Never Put Politics Above GOD!

I am deeply concerned about the Church in America. Politics also has done great damage to the Bride of Christ. I know it! I hear it! As we carry out The Great Commission here at FGGAM, one of the reasons I get from people that have left the church, or never go to church is POLITICS! Way too many Pastors have and are supporting hateful, crazy politicians. I have been monitoring the news ever since I was a young man. My favorite subject in school was history and current events, I see very clearly how we are being torn apart. I also see so many things that God is showing me at this time as I seek Him constantly as to what to write to you. The Church in America is in great trouble. Only 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview and only 6% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview! Research from George Barna / ACU’s Cultural Research Center. More Info Here. The American Church has lost much of America. My biggest concern is that we are facing a worse riot than Jan. 6th. The pot of evil is brewing. Political division just increases in our country as hate increases. I beleive that politics for many Americans comes first, before God. I have no faith in either party to save America, only God Almighty can do that. Many do not beleive that, that is why we have chaos in America.

Vet your candidates with God’s Word. Find out who their Pastors is. Are they bearing fruit? Or rotten apples?

The two party system is broken, it has been for years, they both have failed America. I pray for a strong third party.

Never put Politics above God, that brings complete hell on earth.

Both parties need a COME TO JESUS meeting! BETTER YET! All of America needs a COME TO JESUS meeting!

America is so very divided……..no matter who wins in the upcoming elections, the GOP or DEMS. Half the people in America will not be happy. Many may riot, just as they did on Jan. 6th. America is looking in all the wrong places for a PEACEMAKER! That PEACEMAKER IS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!

From CBN:

For the past few years, America has been marked by deep political divides which are reaching into the church.

March 2022 Barna poll cited current political divisions among the top three reasons pastors want to quit the pulpit.

The political hurt felt in a number of churches not only stresses ministers and leaders, it also sets a bad example for non-believers.
