New Mexico is Burning Up! No End in Sight! 790,000 Acres Destroyed and Counting!

“I also withheld rain from you, When there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, And where it did not rain the part withered. Amos 4:7

Rain’s peaceful presence is also such a gift from the Lord. “Be still and know that I am God.” [Psalm 46:10] Rain can make us stop and be still. It can make us pause in our day-to-day lives to soak up the surroundings and the moment that we are in. And with this comes a peace that can be overwhelming and so satisfying.

I can just hear one of my friends in Catron County, New Mexico saying, “Unbelievable!” I have no words for this disaster that has changed lives forever. No matter what the governors says, many will never recover. Many have lost their homes, and so much more. I find it very, very discouraging that the governor has never called for a day, a week, a month of prayer for rain. I shake my head in disgust. I know my friend Pastor Randall Floyd at the Assemblies of God Church in Clayton has opened the doors at his Church at times for people to come and pray. I am so very grateful for that. I pray for more leaders like Pastor Randall. The Santa Fe New Mexican is reporting that we are at 790,000 acres have burned in the state and still counting. This should cause us all pause. New Mexico needs Christian leaders badly. The Church is the hospital for all. This is a time for mourning and seeking the face of JESUS! Not a time for the ‘Hollywood church’ in New Mexico. Mature Christians are needed.

It is only the start of June, unless the LORD brings us rain we are in for a long, long fire season. New Mexico needs to repent from its sins. I am not a popular preacher in this state, as I share just what the LORD tells me, the good and the ugly. I try to do it in love. You see you cannot kill God’s babies, and His children through abortions, shootings and drugs and think you can get away with it scot-free. You see everything is about JESUS!

I Believe God is Angry By Pastor Leonard Navarre

Tony Evans says America is facing God’s judgement because Christians are ‘cultural,’ not ‘biblical’

From Pastor Mark Grothe:

Father, in Your Word you have said,

When I close the sky so that there is no rain, or command the locusts to destroy the land, or send sicknesses to my people and if my people who are called by my name become humble and pray, and look for me, and turn away from their evil ways, then I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now, my eyes are open, and my ears will pay attention to the prayers prayed in this place.” 2 Chronicles 7:13-15 ERV

We, Your People, in New Mexico, are coming to You and are seeking You. We are asking for Your Forgiveness for the things we have allowed or are involved in, like, late term abortion, gambling, drunkenness, legalized marijuana, debauchery, and many other things. We are not just asking for Forgiveness but for Your Help to turn from these things and the Strength to continue to not partake if there things or even to appear that we are ok with them. Help us to be more and more of The People of God that You would want us to be.

We are asking for Your Help for us to be Humble. Our Hope is that in doing so, we can lead others to do what is right. That in doing so, we can be The True Models of Your Love to others. That in doing so, we can help others in their times of crisis that they wouldn’t turn to things that keep them separate from You.

We are looking for You to do a Mighty Work of God in our hearts, lives, State and land. We are hoping for a Great Awakening of The Hearts of Your People. Our hope is that in this Great Awakening, not only would we be changed, but that it would cause a change in others around us that would bring a change everywhere.

Father, we really do want to turn from our evil ways. We know that they don’t bring You Glory. We know that they keep us from You.

Your Word also tells us,

“I write this letter to you who believe in the Son of God. I write so that you will know that you have eternal life now. We can come to God with no doubts. This means that when we ask God for things (and those things agree with what God wants for us), God cares about what we say. He listens to us every time we ask him. So we know that he gives us whatever we ask from him.” 1 John 5:13-15 ERV

As we come to You, our hope is that You would bring rains to us here in New Mexico. We have been in this drought for a long time. Our lands have become dry and have allowed for fires to kindle in multiple areas. These fires have caused many to flee from their homes and have caused lots of damage. We are asking for rains to not only bring us an abundance of water that we need but also to help aid in extinguishing these fires.

Father, we are asking You to watch over the families that are in the midst of these fires. We are also asking for You to protect those who are fighting these fires. Please, bring Your Protecting Hand over them and keep them covered from suffering loss and injury.

We are also asking You to Watch over our Law Enforcement Officers as it is getting tougher and tougher for them to do their jobs. Please Aid them to have the right discernment to do what is right. Please Protect them  from the stresses they deal with in every situation they are in.

We are asking You to Aid our first responders when they go out to provide any medical aid that may be required. Please Help them to provide the care for those whom they are helping

And lastly, we lift our leaders here up to You. We are asking You to Help them to Know You as they do the jobs they were elected for. Please Guide them to make the right decisions that would bring our State back in line with You and to become one that sets examples for others.

We thank You for all that You have done for us, all that You do for us, and all that You will do for us.

In Jesus Name, Amen

Let’s keep praying and seeking for Him
