Keeping Your Peace

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives, do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

We will always have challenges through life and struggles that we face day by day but Jesus encourages us that He is  always there with us.

Exodus 14:14 The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace.

One thing is do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace. Often times no matter how hard we try peace eludes us. The war in our minds rages on, and when you allow others to control your emotions ,your peace of mind becomes unstable. That is when we need to walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit , then we can experience the peace that is promised to us.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in you.

When anxiety creeps into your life trust in the Lord and He will bless you with his peace. Don’t let your situation take over your thoughts and allow your feelings to control you , but look to God and His promised Word.

Isaiah 32:17 The fruit of the righteousness will be peace the effect of the righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.

Never allow the enemy to rob you of your peace. The enemy uses every strategy to distract you
.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.

1 Peter 5:8 Be self control and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him and standing firm in the faith.

The enemy fights us every day through situations and the people we encounter. He also battles in our thoughts and feelings. The bible warns us about this

Isaiah 24:10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed. Says the Lord who has compassion on you.

God delights in his children and helps us maintain our peace for God’s love and peace are perfect.

Psalm 29:11 The Lord gives strength to his people the Lord blesses his people with peace.

Allow God to change your attitude by giving him thanks in all of your circumstances.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

As you begin to give thanks unto the Lord in the midst of your storms that is when you will experience his peace that will pass all understanding.

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your request to God 7 and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace, and be thankful.

Proverbs 14:30 A heart of peace gives life to the body

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

May you be encouraged by the Word of God and meditate on his Word. Engrave His Word into your heart and lean on him, trust, believe, and give him praise.

Thank you Lord for your peace. We  fix our eyes on you, it is your promise in seeking peace you will strengthen us and bless us with your presence by the power of the Holy Spirit. You will fill us with joy surround us with your love for in quietness and trust will be our strength. Amen
