A New Way To Walk…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Are you ready for a new way to walk? A Jesus walk, the John 8:36 kind of walk? As I was reading my Bible this morning, I read scriptures like this:
But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. (Luke 12:31) The Kingdom of God is within us. (Luke 17:21) I ponder scriptures like this. I meditate on them and I ask God through the power of the Holy Spirit to teach me. I sit quietly before a God that promises me so many things.
Yesterday, a friend couldn’t wait for me to get done work to share this song. As I listened, I knew it was one I would share with all of you.
Let’s walk free today because John 8:36 one of my favorite life verses tells us that whom the Son set’s free is free indeed. Every path may look different, but God will empower us to live life looking to him the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your mercy and grace. We thank you that your arm is not too short that it can’t reach down and save, nor your ear too dull to hear. (Isaiah 59:1)
Father, teach us everything that is ours because the Kingdom of God lives within us. You promised in John 14:26 that the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in your name, will teach us all things and you will remind us of everything you have said to us. Now that’s a promise we want fulfilled in our lives.
Father, thank you that yesterday is in the past and today is a new day. We all have a fresh start today. Thank you for putting the John 8:36 freedom step in our walk today. Light our path, we pray. Amen.
