Yesterday we celebrated the 80th Birthday of Apostle Barbara Gould, pictured at far left as her daughter Lisa makes a presentation to her Mother. I was blessed to serve as MC! My lovely Bride Sharon was with me as many gathered to celebrate such a loving and strong Christian leaders Birthday! Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull was one of the speakers, the Mayor spoke on how important Barbara and Emmanuel Ministries International is to the area. Barbara has established love centers in Kenya, Jamaica, Belize, and other locations, such an awesome worldwide ministry! Barbara carries out The Great Commission in a mighty way! We heard from folks from those countries by zoom! It was so very inspiring!!! Not an easy job technical wise, but God provided!!! Sharon and I are so blessed to have Barbara in our life.
Barbara has truly carried out The Great Commission. Many Pastors and leaders in the Church could really learn from her. Yesterday to see all the people on zoom from different countries, young and old people, who shared how Barbara has changed their lives, it was just so wonderful to see, such a blessing! It fired me up! FGGAM is based on carrying out The Great Commission. Jesus has commanded us to carry out The Great Commission, I have stated before, this is the biggest, or one of the biggest failures of the American Church, is failing to fulfill this command from our Lord. What does the body of Christ not understand about THE GREAT COMMISSION? IT IS A COMMAND, TO GO! GO!
Barbara has faced many hurdles in her life, I know, I have seen her face some of the hurdles. Being a woman in ministry is not easy, being a leader and being a woman is even more difficult. I am very disappointed in many men in the Church on how they treat woman. If it was not for woman, there would not be a Church in America. I am not popular, because I speak out and will continue to speak out on what God shows me about the failures of His Church. He tells and shows me, I am a Holy Spirit preacher.
I look at Barbara Gould and Emmanuel Ministries International and see Love Centers all over the world. How about that for carrying out The Great Commission!!!!! Directed from right here in New Mexico. Barbara has served on the FGGAM Board of Directors since we started 10 years ago this August. Sharon and I have learned so much from her. I have known Barbara for 17 years. She never speaks down to you, she guides you with love. She never puts herself above you. Barbara never wavers from her mission that God has given gave her! Never! She is guided by the Holy Spirit. Barbara follows the guidelines of God, not man.
Barbara has changed the lives of both me and Sharon and so many people around the world.
