This really struck me as very wrong. I got a news release from the New Mexico Legislature about this and I just shook my head. Really? Its seems very stupid to me: The U.S. Forest Service Southwest Region plans to commence an aerial shooting of cattle in the Gila National Forest beginning today, Tuesday, February 8, 2022. The plan is now on hold. Gotta be a better way to handle this situation. Legislators sent a a bi-partisan letter to the Feds in protest of ther plan. An old man like me just does not know what to think sometimes about things like this.
