Good morning! A beautiful morning to celebrate the goodness of our God. As I look out my window and see the trees covered with white snow, without even a movement of a branch, it looks like everything is standing still. However, that is not the case at all. People have already started their day hours earlier and some are just beginning as we are all in different time zones. It makes me think of several scriptures this morning.
Be still and know that I am God. (Psalm 46:10)
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. (Hebrews 11:3)
God has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. (Ecclesiastes 3:9-14)
Father, thank you for your Word this morning. It is full of good words, interesting facts, declarations, promises, covenants and so much more.
Father, today we will enjoy the day you have given us. Show us the great and mighty things you tell us about in Jeremiah 33:3.
Father, your goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives. (Psalm 23:6) Amen.
Stay blessed beautiful people. You can take God at his Word. Believe…
