Nobody is above the law!
I do not know of course all the details of this case even thou I have done my best to follow it in the media. The Santa Fe New Mexican does an excellent job. Over the years at KKIM now at FGGAM I have covered too much corruption in Rio Arriba County. When I moved here in 1995 I was told Rio Arriba was one of the most corrupt counties in the state. This is the second time in recent memory that a Rio Arriba County Sheriff has been in court and found guilty of crimes. In 2014, former Sheriff Thomas Rodella was convicted of violating the civil rights of a motorist, according to federal court documents. I have to ask, are the folks of the County vetting their candidates for office by the Word of God?
By the way, Bernalillo County Sheriff Manny Gonzales was found to have committed fraud in his campaign for Mayor of Albuquerque. Why has he not been censored by the County Commissioners??? Why has he not been held accountable by the County? What Could Happen Next For Manny Gonzales?
Always people of God, vet by the Word of God, look at the fruit they are producing…or maybe they are not??
We would be a much better Country if we would vet our candidates local, state and national by the Word of God.
