Sow A Seed, Meet A Need…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking this morning about seeds that we sow. I received a message recently, from a woman I prayed for in a local grocery store three years ago. She had a condition and needed God to move on her behalf. Her message to me a few days ago said her condition was arrested that day, and had not progressed at all. That prayer on that day was a seed.
Sometimes God will ask us to help someone that has a need. It may be financial, it may be something that we no longer need and someone else does. When we give it to them, that is planting a seed. I remember a time when God had said to give this woman some of my best dresses. Since I didn’t have many and wasn’t sure what was the best, I gave them all to her. Those were seeds sown into her life.
Those seeds come back to us in many ways. Today let’s ask the Holy Spirit to lead us to someone that has a need. Let’s ask God himself to use us to plant a seed. Whatever he asks us to do, release it and watch it come back in so many ways.
Father, thank you for teaching us about giving. Everything we do is a seed. Whether we help someone financially, or we bless someone with meeting a need, those are all seeds. Maybe we bake a pie or give someone a hug, those are seeds as well.
Father, show us someone today that has a need and use us (the body of christ) to sow the seed. Trust us with much God, we pray. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Someday you will reap a harvest. Those seeds come back to you. Believe!
Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 2 Corinthians 9:6
