We must obey God rather than men

We know from scripture that in the last days there will be some difficult times.

We all remember in the book of Daniel, the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego.

The King was going to throw these three men into the fiery furnace if they did not bow down to and worship the golden image.

Their response was this, “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

”But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are NOT going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Daniel 3:16-18

There came a time, and there is a time coming when we must only obey what Christ commands us to.  Even when we are being shunned and persecuted.

Government is run by humans, humans can become corrupt and that’s when we do only what God leads us to do.

God is Sovereign over all human events. Period!

“We must obey God rather than men.”

Acts 5:29

We should always use good judgment, make sure it’s a Godly choice you’re making, and more importantly, we should pray for one another that we might have the courage and faith to stand strong in Christ during these hard times.

I believe part of this has a prophetic significance. It will eventually lead us to the lawless one.

This evil man will set himself up as god to be worshiped by all. He will be the most terrifying dictator in history, he’ll be evil and ruthless.

He will bring pure evil, and he will demand that all people worship him as their only god or they will be killed.

As the 3 men in the fiery furnace were singled out for not bowing down to or worshipping their false image, so it will be for the followers of Christ.

At this point we must absolutely not bow down to anyone, but Christ!

“For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way”

2 Thessalonians 2:7

In Daniel, When the king walked by the blazing furnace he had thrown the 3 men into, he not only saw that they were not being burnt and not one single hair on their head was singed, he also saw a 4th man in there.

He recognized the fourth man as God.

Hebrews 13:5 tells us. “He will never leave you, nor forsake you.”

Always have your will in aligned with Gods will and you won’t go wrong.

THE GOOD NEWS IS:

True Followers if Christ (Christians) won’t be here for the worst of it. I believe He will take us up to heaven before it starts getting bad.

“Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try (those who dwell on the earth.)”

Revelation 3:10

“Now when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is approaching, your redemption is near.”

Luke 21:28

Stay strong, stand firm!

Many Blessings,

Connie
