And It Wasn’t Even Sunday

Today I played Worship music and worshipped the Lord,

And it wasn’t even Sunday.

This Morning I quietly prayed for someone,

And it wasn’t even Sunday.

I opened my Bible and read God’s word,

And it wasn’t even Sunday.

I sat in quiet listening for His voice,

And it wasn’t even Sunday.

Today we fed a family that was in need,

And it wasn’t even Sunday.

Instead of looking the other way I made eye contact and gave to someone who needed help,

And it wasn’t even Sunday.

We visited someone who was lonely and sad,

And it wasn’t even Sunday.

We visited and prayed with someone in the hospital,

And it wasn’t even Sunday.

Today we shared the good news about Jesus Christ,

And it wasn’t even Sunday.

Today I give thanks to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and again I say,

It wasn’t even Sunday.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

Matthew 25:34-36 NLT

There are so many ways we can interact in a Godly way with this world. The world is hurting 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Let’s stop waiting until Sunday to do them.
