Where Can Hope Be Found?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I love the State of Maine. It is where I was born and raised. We definitely have a lot of caring people in this state. We also have a lot of barriers because of where we are located. Maine is the 2nd least churched state in the United States of America.  I am thankful that Jesus Christ is our living hope and he helps real people, with real issues, overcome these barriers.

Prayer and worship are tools we have been given by God himself to help us overcome the obstacles, challenges, and barriers we may face in life.

I was looking at some stats from a pamphlet I received years ago. Our beautiful state had recorded 418 beautiful people died from opiods in 2017. Recorded was 1,997 abortions in 2016.  We had 235 beautiful people committed suicide in 2016. 14,000 victims of sexual assault was reported in 2015. 373 beautiful people reported rape and we had 200-300 reported sex trafficking victims of beautiful people in 2016. I am sure the numbers have dramatically increased over the years. Our state needed hope and I believe prayer is the key.

Today, let’s thank God for Maine and it’s beautiful people. Let’s thank God for your state as well. Let’s thank him for this awakening because of his great love for people. Amen? Amen.

Father, thank you that our hope is in you. Every day is a new beginning and we are blessed to journey life with the man that created both the heavens and the earth.

Father, our states doesn’t need more religion, we need more relationship. Thank you for your love for mankind, the kind of unconditional love that cost you everything and us nothing. Walk with us today as we journey our day.

Father, all of our hope is in you as you pour out your love on our state, the beautiful state of Maine. (Name your state) Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. For this is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
