It’s 2021 and over the past year in America we have received checks from the government defined as Stimulus Checks to help families deal with the Covid pandemic, financial binds and more. The word Stimulus can be defined as: a thing that rouses activity or energy in someone or something; a spur or incentive. But today I want to share something very important with you.
Stimulus Checks are exciting, they bring hope to some , excitement to others and to those who think ahead they bring concern. Why concern, because eventually someone will have to repay all that money being given away, and also these checks don’t last very long. They are a temporary life line.
But there is a stimulus that will last forever, it truly brings hope, joy, comfort and peace, and that stimulus is Salvation through Jesus Christ. And the most powerful part is the price has already been paid and it lasts forever. All you have to do is ask Jesus into your life and turn from sin….and follow Him. Don’t get me wrong it’s a life choice and will take some work on your part but over all the choice will truly be life changing. So today I want you to take a moment to focus on something more then just a temporary stimulus check. I want you to focus on eternity.
Will you ask Him into your life today?
It starts with you turning from sin and turning to God.
