What Makes A Marriage Work?
Part 2

As we start off Part 2 I first want to encourage you all to share your marriage encouragement in the comments section. The amazing part about marriage is there are many ways to make it work. Some things work better for some than others. But at the end of the day if we try our best to be the best Spouse we can be to our Husband or Wife then things should go smoother.

This Post I want to share Genesis 2:23-24
23 “At last!” the man exclaimed.
“This one is bone from my bone,
and flesh from my flesh!
She will be called ‘woman,’
Because she was taken from ‘man.’”

24 This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.

I love verse 24 because it paints a Beautiful picture of Oneness, The Man is joined to the Woman and the two are united into One.

Do you remember how you met? Do you remember the time you both spent in the mirror getting your face just right, or your hair all in place for that perfect impression. I see you smiling, of course you do, I know I did. The goal was to dress and clean up to impress. First impressions really are important, with the end result of eventually finding Mr. and Mrs. Right and live happily ever after.

But of course there is going to be some work and that takes the two of you. You cannot become “1” until you both surrender your pre-marriage selfish ways and start looking at your marriage like a team effort. Whether its dealing with finances, house chores, private time together, discussions, your children, your parents, other family, neighbors, friends or anything else you both deal with. God said the two will become one that makes you two special in many ways.

Marriage is like a gold mine, you just have to work and explore and dig to find the beautiful treasure in it.

God Bless and Love To You ALL!
