Our Self Image In Christ

Therefore if anyone is in Christ , he is a new creation, the old has gone the new has come.  (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Scriptures tell us that  you need to see yourself the way God sees you. Once you have received Christ in your heart the old has gone and the new has come.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them.

See yourself in the image of God, for God wants you to see yourself as his highest creation. He desires to pour out his love and wisdom into your life. God sees you as a perfect likeness of a winner. He sees all your good qualities. The enemy will show you a picture of your self at your worst. He tries to remind you what you were like at your weakest point. His purpose is to give you a different image of yourself than how God sees you through Jesus Christ. Through faith in God’s word begin to see yourself through his eyes. You have a purpose.

Philippians 3:13-14 Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.

2Corinthians 1:21-23 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Become what God wants you to be, do what God wants you to do.

Romans 8:1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

1John 3:1 How great is the love the father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.

Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ .

Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 5:12 For surely O Lord you bless the righteous you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

You  are God’s child. He  loves you , you need not to  think of yourself any less. The bible says you are loved, blessed, redeemed, forgiven and a partaker of his divine nature and most of all you are loved by Him..

2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God who always lead us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.

Thank you Lord for your love, by faith we  will begin to see ourselves through your eyes. Forgetting what is behind and moving forward and not let our self image control our lives for we are made perfect in your sight.
