Dear friend,

With everything that we have struggled with this past year, in the culture and in our world, we can still find hope in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we look to the cross this Good Friday and an empty tomb on Sunday, our hope is a sure and steady anchor in these turbulent times.

This week, I spoke with my friend, Pastor Tim Keller, about how the resurrection and the meaning of Easter can give us hope in times of fear. We also talked about wrestling with our mortality, how to order our loves in this life, and finding joy in the midst of suffering.

I hope this conversation encourages you in some way this week. Click below to watch:

After a season of disease, despair, and death for so many of us, I’m thankful that the promise of Easter remains and that Jesus has overcome all those things. Know that we at the ERLC are praying for you and your church. I’m grateful for your faithful service to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

For the Kingdom,
