Habakkuk 2:3 But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

Isaiah 55:11 It is the same with My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

He’s given you a vision or a word, and now you need to wait for it to happen. Do you trust Him to bring it to pass? Jesus said in John 14:1 to let not your heart be troubled.

I got to thinking about the words: let, believe, trust and know. The Lord has given me some visions and also a word that I am waiting to see in the natural. I also thought about the desires of our heart and how He longs to fulfill them.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will direct your paths.

Do you know and trust Jesus enough to believe that what He’s shown you or said to you is true? Are you willing to let Him work it out in His perfect timing? When we try to make things happen it’s like holding on to water. It’s not possible. We can really bungle things up when we go to meddling in things we have no business meddling in. I’m speaking to the choir here.

Remember when Jesus said to ‘let’ not your heart be troubled? When you let Him, you are giving Him control. You’re allowing Him to have His way. When you believe Him, you are agreeing with Him and having confidence in Him. When you trust Him, you are placing yourself and all your plans into His hands.  Know Him by who He is and all He has already done for you. He created everything out of nothing! Is anything too hard for Him?! Of course not!

Romans 8:25&28 But if we look forward to something we don’t have yet, we must wait patiently and confidently. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.

I love these scriptures: Psalm 37:5,7a Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust Him, and He will help you. Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for Him to act.

That’s it in a nutshell beloved ones! Give Him everything, trust Him, He’ll help you, and rest in His presence while you wait for Him to accomplish His promises. Take heart! He’s got this.

Psalm 34:1-2 I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak His praises. I will boast only in the LORD; let all who are discouraged take heart.

I was given a word for 2021. It is: rest. A couple of days after I got that word, I was meditating. Jesus and I were walking beside a stream. I sensed that He wanted to give me something so I opened my hand. When it looked in my hand, I saw that He had put hope.

Jeremiah 17:7 But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.

John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.”

Abba, help us to let go of what You want to accomplish. There’s nothing You can’t do! You’re so amazing and You have made all things! Every time I even think of a firefly, I remember, “My Daddy can do anything!” As I read the accounts of Mary and Joseph, Paul, Moses, and all the other folks that You helped, I am reminded that they were people like us, and that You loved them and helped them in all ways. Thank You, Abba! Thank You for always loving us, helping us and bringing Your word to pass. Father, praise You! Amen and so be it!

Dawn's heart is to encourage the Body so that all would come to see the Christ-life as all-living, life-giving truth, that we would all walk in the Holy Spirit to such fullness that anyone we come in contact with comes in contact with the living God. (Ephesians 4:23-24) She has always liked writing and in March 2007, the Lord gave her 1 Peter 4:10-11 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Dawn is very blessed to be married to her best friend, Ron, who continually nourishes her with the washing of the Word. They currently live in Oklahoma, and have two married sons, an adult daughter, six granddaughters and two grandsons.
