Besides Christ’s Birthday, his resurrection is my favorite time of the year.
The cross shows the power of Jesus Christ. The cross is our hope.
He willingly died on the cross. He took our place. He bore our sin because every one of us has sinned and “fall short of the glory of God”
God does not merely declare His love. He demonstrates it on the cross.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
The day he arose from the tomb, he took the keys to death, hell and the grave.
Galatians 6:14; But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Acts 5:30; The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had put to death by hanging Him on a cross.
1 Peter 2:24; He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
Through Jesus’ blood, shed on the cross, we are offered an abundance of His blessings.
The world is getting worse every day. Hate, immorality, violence, corruption, and much more. It seems to be the norm. In our best effort, we must change and seek God’s face in these matters.
There is only one hope for us in that empty tomb- Jesus Christ and He alone crucified.
