John 3:16 New American Standard Bible

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

They say all good things must come to an end, well not this time! God sent His Son Jesus Christ down to earth to repair a broken relationship between God and Man. Not only did He give His life for you and Me but He also defeated death and was raised from the dead! Victory in Jesus Christ the Good thing that never ended. The fact that we have hope in Jesus Christ, that when we ask Him into our lives and turn from Sin we too can have eternal life with Him! The fact that one day we too must die and face judgment, the fact that we have a choice to make on this earth right now with free will to choose to either follow Jesus Christ or turn away and face the consequences is real. Heaven is Real and so is Hell, please don’t be mistaken, your life on earth and after death truly depend on the choice you make. My prayer is you won’t look at Resurrection weekend as a chocolate feast but as a time of remembrance of the decision God made to break the curse on Man and Death by giving His Son as the final sacrifice for all sin.

Luke 23:44-46

44 It was now about [t]the sixth hour, and darkness came over the entire land until the ninth hour, 45 because the sun stopped shining; and the veil of the temple was torn in two. 46 And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands, I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.

Luke 24:1-7

But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in gleaming clothing; 5 and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why are you seeking the living One among the dead? 6 He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, 7 saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead.”

Luke 24:44-49

44 Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all the things that are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” 45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and He said to them, “So it is written, that the [w]Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you, but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

He is Alive! May we never forget What God did for all of us through His Son Jesus Christ. Have a blessed resurrection weekend. Let’s get the word out and not keep it in any longer. Jesus Christ is Lord. Are You Saved yet? Have you asked Jesus Christ into your life? Have you confessed your sins and turned your life over to Him? Don’t wait another day because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. God Bless and Love to You ALL!
