God is Love
God has created each of us to be unique one of a kind masterpiece. We are all different and yet we are loved by Him. Scriptures teaches us to love one another just as he loved us .
John 13:34 A new command I give you Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
God’s love is unconditional, his love is different from human love. Love is not based on our feelings but knowing who God is and allowing him to fill us so we can love others the same way he loves us.
In all reality it can be difficult to love at times because you have people that are hard to love, face it we need to be honest with ourselves, and say Lord help me to walk in love the way you loved us. Remember we are not perfect in anyway and yet God still loves you.
Romans 5:8 God demonstrates his own love for us in this , while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
In our selves we do not have the kind of love that the Lord commands. But God never commands us to do something without enabling us to do it.
God gives us the indwelling of the Holy Spirit . The same Spirit that dwells in the Father and in the Lord Jesus now dwells in us. God’s heart flows to us and through us to others by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 5:5 The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
God’s love flows through us to others as we yield ourselves to him. His love is so powerful that it can enable us to even love our enemies.
So today I challenge you to ask God to fill you with his love. Asking him for his forgiveness , obeying his command to love one another as the Holy Spirit fills you leads you and guides you to love just as Christ loved you.
Colossians 3:12-13 Therefore as God’s chosen people holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion , kindness ,humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive what ever grievances you may have against one another . Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love which binds them together in perfect unity
Jeremiah 31:3 I have loved you with an everlasting love
