A New Mexico State police officer was shot and killed in the shooting along Interstate 10 in Luna County.
Reports of a shooting Las Cruces came into our newsroom Thursday around noon.
New Mexico State Police reported that several officers were injured in a shooting during a pursuit.
The suspect in the shooting is dead, according to state police.
