From A Church To A Hospital…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday, we discussed this song at church, Truth Be Told by Matthew West. It brought me back to a memory of a woman that prayed for me about twenty years ago. She said I see your ministry as a hospital. Isn’t that what the church is? I remember thinking to myself, as I journeyed on…

I have heard many comments about churches over the years, being a radio talk show host. Here’s a few. You can’t go to that church, unless you have money. That church is full of clicks. If you don’t pay, you don’t play the pastor says (full ten percent ). They have lot’s of social gatherings and dinners, it’s a good place. Hmmm…

Today, let’s pray for the church.

Father, thank you that we don’t have to have it all together. You take broken lives and rebuild them and make them solid once again. When you weld a broken piece, it won’t  break in that place again, it is solid. Thank you for making us strong.

Father, thank you for being bigger than addictions, bigger than broken lives, bigger than broken homes, bigger than broken people. That’s who you died for. The church building may someday be gone, but peoples lives and legacy lives on. Thank you for changing generational patterns and causing people to have hope, because of your agape (unconditional love). May the church become hospitals all across this globe for your people.

Father, thank you for the greatest gift, your love. You tell us we were enough for you to die for. May many today dream again because they have hope in you and your promise of restoration to them. Rebuild lives all across this globe, we pray. May their tomorrows be as bright as the morning sun, because you died and rose again. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Take some time and bask in his presence. Tell him the truth with right where your at, he knows anyway. He will come and dine with you, even if you don’t have a dime. This is your time.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
