Fix your eyes upon Jesus

Thank you so very much for your encouragement today Sister Connie Keyohara! We are so thankful for your ministry!

Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:2

Have you ever had such a rough time in life, you just felt like giving up?

We’ve all been there at some point. Life can be tough and full of disappointments.

If you’re feeling this way, it’s important that you fix your eyes on Jesus, not on your situation.  Fixing our eyes on Jesus means to lock eyes with the only One who can help you.

This means that you’ll have such a connection with Him that every part of you aligns with Christ and that God is the only hope that we can cling to, no matter what we’re facing.

In the midst of our struggle, we can turn to God in prayer to ask for strength to carry on. It is crucial to our walk with God that we seek Him.

Letting God take control of life’s situations is actually the best thing we can do. It takes the burden off of us and places it at the foot of the cross.

Then we pray for guidance to keep going and let God lead. He said he’d never leave us or abandon us. So, that takes the worry of being alone away.

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

1 Chronicles 16:11

With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!

Psalm 119:10

We’ve all been to the depths of despair and God’s never walked away, so fear not because right now he’s with you. Holding you up and giving you strength.

Call on Him.

My prayer for you today is; that you’d feel his presence.

Many Blessings,

Connie
