NEWS YOU NEED TO KNOW FROM THE FGGAM MEDIA CENTER:

FROM PASTOR DEWEY MOEDE: As America continues to fall…..you must absorb God’s truth more than ever, or face hell. What will this country, America, look like in just 3 months from now? The America I know is falling fast. Where are God’s people? America may survive, if it does, it could be a Country I do not know, unless a GREAT AWAKENING OCCURS! NOT A HIGH SCHOOL PEP RALLY! The Church failed to carry out The Great Commission. Time to put away the pom poms ands throw out the candy cane sermons. Be Salt and light! Years and years ago the late great man of God, Chuck Colson said the American Church has ‘turned into a high school pep rally”. This downfall of America has been going on for years and years and now it has sped up big time.

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. Matthew 5:13…..The America Church as a whole has lost its salt, failed to carry out The Great Commission and preach the Ten Commandments.

What does apostasy really mean?

Feb 1, 2021

From the writings of the Rev. Billy GrahamQ: I read in the New York Times and other articles about a movie entitled “Apostasy.” Several ministers have commented on it so it must have something to do with religion but what does apostasy really mean? — A.Q.

A: The word apostasy is derived from two Greek words. Putting them together they mean “to stand away from” or “to abandon” one’s faith. The Biblical teaching about apostasy goes far deeper than that. It means to “fall away.” The Apostle Paul wrote about this to the church at Thessalonica. It affected every area of life. The word is so strong and so emphatic that it suggests a complete breakdown of morals, ethics and spirituality.

The context indicates that the falling away refers not only to the abandonment of intellectual belief but also to an abandonment of morals and an abandonment of the love that is to characterize all Christians at all times.

Paul wrote: “In latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy” (1 Timothy 4:1-2), and “for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires … they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

The Bible says, “The whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one” (1 John 5:19). The wicked one is none other than Satan. His purpose is to create an atmosphere of immorality. He is working through society’s obsession with sex, falsehood, and every other evil in the world, causing many to depart from the truth.

If our minds and hearts are not filled with God’s truth, something else will take its place. Know the truth that comes from Jesus Christ, and His truth will set you free (John 8:32).

Report: China Leaders Fear Christian Population May Reach 300 Million by 2030

American Family Association: ‘It Is Still Astonishing to See the Power of the Gospel Play Out in our World Today in an Oppressive Environment like Communist China’

TUPELO, Miss. — According to the Christian charity Open Doors, the prospect that China’s Christian community could reach a staggering 300 million people by 2030 has unnerved communist leaders who fear “they’ll have to share power” as the Church increases in size and influence. The Chinese Communist Party, led by President Xi Jinping, is becoming increasingly concerned about the Christian population’s growth and is cracking down on religion as a result.

“Even for those who already believe the Bible, it is still astonishing to see the power of the Gospel play out in our world today in an oppressive environment like Communist China,” stated Ed Vitagliano, executive vice president of the American Family Association (AFAwww.AFA.net).

Open Doors’ Director of Strategic Research, Ron Boyd-MacMillan, said, “And if it grows at the rate that it has done since 1980, and that’s about between 7 and 8 percent a year, then you’re looking at a group of people that will be 300 million strong, nearly by 2030. And, you know, the Chinese leadership, they really do long term planning, I mean, their economic plan goes to 2049, so this bothers them. Because I think if the Church continues to grow like that, then they’ll have to share power.”

“What has been happening in that nation over the last 70-plus years has been nothing short of miraculous. Christians in the free world should take great encouragement from the church in China and remember to preach the gospel to our own neighbors because we can––freely and without fear,” continued Vitagliano. “And let us not forget to pray for our brothers and sisters in China and elsewhere, as they endure tremendous pressure and persecution as they live faithful Christian lives and bear witness to the great love God has poured out to mankind through Jesus Christ.”

Open Doors ranks China at No. 17 on its World Watch List of 50 countries where Christians are most persecuted.

The policy of “Sinicizing” the Church — or merging it with Chinese identity — is being implemented across the country as the CCP relies strongly on Chinese cultural identity to stay in power by limiting whatever it perceives as a threat to its control on society.

Churches are being monitored and closed down across the country, whether they are underground or part of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement, the officially sanctioned Protestant church in China. The government has also imposed a ban on the online sale of Bibles.  Additionally, China uses high-tech surveillance to oppress and monitor believers.

I am including two powerful messages to encourage us all in the POWER OF PRAYER! I am super blessed to have the two as mentors!

From Longtime Pastor and Prayer Warrior Don Kimbro, who writes for God here at FGGAM:

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. — 1 John 5:14-15

During World War II, Rees Howells, was acknowledged as the greatest prayer warrior in all of Great Britain and the miracles of his intercession during the war are legendary. One in particular happened in Salerno, Italy when the British army was about to be overrun by the Germans. Their only hope was to establish a beachhead until reinforcements arrived but time was running out. At exactly the same hour, Rees and his students at his Bible College of Wales were suddenly burdened to pray for that Italian city, which had become the pivotal point for the Allied liberation of that country. Rees told his students, “The Lord has burdened me about the invasion of Salerno. I believe our men are in great danger of losing their hold.”

The student body began to pray. Rees Howells relates what happened next, “The Holy Sprit took hold of the meeting and suddenly they all found themselves praising and rejoicing, believing that God had heard and answered. We could not go on praying any longer, so we rose as one . . . the Spirit witnessing in all our hearts that God had wrought some miraculous intervention in Italy. The victory was so outstanding that I looked at the clock as we rose to sing. It was the stroke of 11:00 PM.”

Meanwhile in Salerno, a frontline reporter was with the troops in combat. His report stated rapidly advancing enemy troops and “increasing devastation was evident.” The British troops were weakening. Their only hope was a miracle that would allow them time to establish that beachhead. Then quite unexpectedly, all gunfire stopped. A deathlike stillness descended on the battlefield. “We waited in breathless anticipation,” the reporter continued, “but nothing happened. I looked a my watch—it was eleven o’clock at night. Still we waited, but still nothing happened all night, but those hours made all the difference to the invasion. By morning the beachhead was established” (quoted by Dick Eastman, No Easy Road).

Our faith is challenged by one of the most powerful scriptures above about prayer in the whole bible. It is powerful because it is a promise to every believer in any age and circumstance. It is powerful because it is true for every believer. It is powerful because it tells us how we can pray with boldness and confidence—and with great assurance until God answers—and He will. Maranatha!

To help us walk closer with God and to know Him better

I also am blessed to share this message from Long time Pastor and Prayer Warrior Jerry McCullah of Green Valley Bible Chapel in California. We are so blessed to have Pastor Jerry as a writer for God here at FGGAM!

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5).

This verse, and the verses that directly follow it, are some of my favorites for the clear challenge they express to the believer.   The Apostle Paul is telling God’s children, believers, “Let the mind that is in Christ—the very way that Jesus thought—also be the way you think.  His mindset is to be our desire and what we seek to imitate.”

So, what does it mean to have the mind of Christ?   It means to think, act, and react as Jesus would.  The thinking: “What would Jesus do?” (WWJD) becomes a rule of thumb.   It means making decisions that are Christ-like in nature that will determine how to live your daily life in this troubling world.  It means you must study, pray, and give thought to, how we can actually have the mind of Christ.

Paul says, this is the mindset of Christ:  He “made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men” (Philippians 2:7).

Jesus made the decision while He was in eternity past, still in heaven.   He decided to lay down His heavenly glory and come to earth as a man.  He would enter the world as a humble servant, and He would seek to minister rather than be ministered to.

When Paul states boldly, “I have the mind of Christ,” he is declaring, “I too have made myself of no reputation. Like Jesus, I have taken on the role of a servant.”   And Paul insists that this can hold true for all believers: “We [all can] have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16).

Notice verse 5 begins, “Let . . .”    We might say, “Allow this to happen in you!”   “Make this happen in you!”    “Strive for it!”   Take on the mind of Christ.   Beloved, God would never tell us to do a thing that we could not do in Him.   (We also have the Holy Spirit to guide, encourage, and strengthen).

We have free will.   We make big choices and determinations all the time.   “I’m going to be the best artist; the best ball player; the fastest runner.”   These are all lofty goals, but they begin with a determination and follow up with daily practice.

America needs; must have, Christians and Christian Pastors who will make this determination in her days of darkness.  We each must decide that no matter how difficult and risky the evil times are or may become, that we, as followers of Christ in name, will be followers of Christ in action and thought above all worldly influence to do and be our own thing.

America is living in such a darkness right now that it appears that night is never ending.  She must have the Light of Christ to dispel the night and bring a new morning.  She does not need more darkness added to her darkness by believers not trusting and following the mind of Christ.

Church; Christian, you can have the mind of Christ within your thinking and living.   Determine it; practice it; “walk in the Spirit!”   You can do it!   Let, “I can do” be your personal motto.   “I can do all things through Christ Who is my strength.”  Let’s let be God!   “Be still, and know that I Am God.”   Pray On!
