From the beginning of our nation, our founders prayed, sought and fought for a culture that embodied, embraced, and encouraged LIFE. In our Declaration of Independence, we all agree as citizens of the United States, that “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”  These founding sentiments were focused on the LIFE that can only be ‘endowed by their Creator,’ the one described in the Holy Bible, the Word of God – the LIFE that only Jesus can give.

January 29th is the date for this year’s National March for Life. Millions have marched in our nation’s capital in years past, and millions will join this year’s virtual march because, as their website reflects, “We march because we envision a future world where the beauty and dignity of every human life are valued and protected – and we promote the beauty and dignity of every human life by working to end abortion—uniting, educating, and mobilizing pro-life people in the public square.”

In light of the fact that we are in the midst of a pandemic which may be peaking, and in view of the heightened pressures that law enforcement officers and others are currently facing in and around the Capitol, this year’s March for Life will look different. The annual rally will take place virtually and March for Life is asking all participants to stay home and to join the March virtually. They will invite a small group of pro-life leaders from across the country to march in Washington, DC this year. These leaders will represent pro-life Americans everywhere who, each in their own unique ways, work to make abortion unthinkable and build a culture where every human life is valued and protected. Let’s pray today, and each day, as the March for Life approaches – Lord, we pray for this nation and this culture, that we would re-dedicate ourselves to be the culture of life that we proclaim in our declaration, life that is valued and protected, every human life, born or unborn. We pray that you would pour Your love and life out on the people in our nation, open our nation’s eyes to the love, life and liberty that only Jesus can give. Forgive us our disregard for the sanctity of life ­– show us Your way, Your truth, and Your LIFE. In Jesus name, Amen.

Late yesterday I got the following text message from Former New Mexico Congressman Bill Redmond. Bill is calling our attention to the Satanic abortion bill SB10 allowing up-to-birth abortions. Bill included a message from State Senator Bill Sharer, (pictured at the very top on our TV program way back when) who has fought hard for God’s babies for many, many years.

“The new abortion bill, SB10, is going to be heard Monday afternoon. I am asking for 200,000 people to pray for 15 minutes starting at 2 pm on Monday. Will you join us and will you ask everyone you to join us. May God Bless you”

The radical abortion lobby behind SB 10 seeks to strip New Mexico’s 1969 criminal abortion statute and not replace it with ANY protections for women, babies and health care professionals. SB 10 will force the following:
1) Codify abortion up-to-birth in state law.
2) Remove the state’s only conscience protection, forcing medical professionals to perform/assist in abortions since there are no other explicit state or federal conscinece protections preventing this.
3) Does not add any protections for women, but further empowers abortion businesses with less accountability.
5) Forces NM taxpayers to continue to fund healthy moms to abort a healthy baby up to 9 months of pregnancy through state Medicaid.
6) The majority of Americans and the majority of New Mexicans support a limit on abortion after 5 months.

New Mexico Alliance for Life first reported the radical abortion lobby groups behind HB 51 and now SB 10 openly called for the removal of “religious refusals”—removing the option for medical professional or hospital to refuse to perform abortions.
The radical abortion lobby seeks to force medical professionals across New Mexico to perform abortions as a matter of “access.” This is not a pro-woman bill but rather, a pro-abortion lobby bill.
There are no explicit federal nor state conscience protection, except in the 1969 NM abortion statute. By removing this conscience protection, New Mexico medical professionals will be forced to perform and participate in abortions.
