Faith, Hope and Encouraging Word By Jeanne Theriault

Taking our Authority Over Fear

The bible commands us not to fear, which comes in the form of worry and anxiety. It is Satan weapon and he responds to it the way God responds to faith. He uses fear to challenge the promises of God and steals our hope from us.

If you’re in fear, you are not in faith. If you are not in faith you’re not in love. Satan will use fear to  hinder our lives.

Take authority over fear, trust God’s love and promises, keep the devil under your feet and starve fear and feed your faith.

How can one feed faith? By proclaiming God’s Word over your lives.

God’s Word tell us :

I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy –Luke 10:19

Are you trusting in God’s love ?

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out  fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love .   1 John  4:18

You need to be persuaded

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised he is able also to perform.  Romans  4:21

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind  2 Timothy 1:7

Are You Feeding Faith or Fear?

The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?    Psalm 27:1

So do not be afraid, I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you , I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  Isaiah 41:10

These are the promises of God. How do you feed faith?

Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of God.

Feed your spirit with the word of God. Let God’s Word become the final authority in every area of your life.

Declare God’s Word instead of worrying about your circumstances , by doing that you are feeding your faith and not fear.

If you are believing for something then don’t say anything contrary to the promises of God which he  has given you concerning it. Keep your hopes up do not tear them down with fear, instead speak God’s promises in faith.

Make up your mind to put your hope in God and become a person who refuses to let fear rob you of the promises of God.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are Yes in Christ , and so through him the Amen is spoken by us to the glory of God.

Be blessed and encouraged by the word of God
