Sadly here in America, the ‘political playbook’ has replaced the Bible in the lives of many. I have spent several years as a broadcaster and Pastor saying that many Americans were making politics and politicians gods. Look at the mess it has created. I have said for all these years the only answer is JESUS! I always try to pray ‘The Lords Will be done.” So many in America are blinded by Satan and politics, politics is the playground of Satan. The only Revolution America needs is to return to JESUS and leave politics. If only political fanatics would have as much enthusiasm for JESUS!!! I do not know where a lot of the Church is going right now in America, it has become a lesser influence in our Country, that is so very tragic. So many Churches are not preaching the FULL GOSPEL! It is not a good situation. Ten Commandments? The Great Commission? Heaven? Hell? Sin? Salvation? For the last several years many Pastors have lost the salt shaker and replaced it with the candy dish. Matthew 5:13: “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.”  All of us will have to stand before God for our actions. I am sure God sees your Facebook/Twitter postings.

This post is another reason I am not a popular preacher in America! I strive everyday to seek my LORD, not politics. I follow JESUS not a political party, both are destroying America. I am a registered Independent. I vet the candidates by God’s Word, who is their Pastor, do they go to Church? Do they produce fruit for the Kingdom of God?

I do not know where the Republicans and Democrats are taking us…it sure smells like hell right now. Mark Twain once said “the only difference between a Democrat and Republican is the spelling.”

Satan is having his way with many in America, so many are off the track and blinded by Satan, walking in such mud and darkness, many do not even know it!

Why is the World full of evil?

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.

The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.

I love this from Adrian Rogers:

One day I drove my car off the hot pavement and out into a grassy area because I knew where there was a persimmon tree. I love persimmons. But I got impossibly stuck in the mud. I got a board and tried to dig myself out. I found a piece of carpet in the woods and put that under the tires. They only sunk deeper.

I prayed, “Lord, I’m in the mud. I’m helpless here. Lord, get me out.” At almost the same time, a man drove by in a four-wheel vehicle. With that mighty truck, he pulled me slowly out of the mud. I was back on solid ground. I was so grateful. I hadn’t known what to do, but God sent someone who did.

That’s so much like salvation. We’re looking for the things of this world and sinking in the mud. We think, “I can get myself out of this.” The more we try to handle it, the deeper we sink. We need someone who sees us and comes to get us out. Jesus is a Savior. He has what it takes to extricate us from the mud we’ve gotten into.

Back at home, I began to wash off my muddy car. That man got me out of the mud, but it was up to me to deal with the mud still on there. When I got saved, I was covered with mud. But since then, I’ve been having Jesus, the Water of Life, clean me up.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:
just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

By this all people will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.
John 13:34-35

How has our society been so deceived to think revolution is good?

Dec 12, 2020

How has our society been so deceived to think revolution is good? From the writings of the Rev. Billy GrahamQ: There is much being said about revolutionaries and the good that is brought about for various causes, but rebellious individuals are destroying our cities. How has our society been so deceived to think this is good? — R.R.

A: Revolution means “change,” and the world is changing so fast that no one can really keep up with it. Students often hear only what is bad about the world. Many professors tantalize students declaring they “live in a messed up world, so burn it down and start all over again.”

That is not the answer. The environment that surrounds us crackles with conflict because we are looking to man to solve our problems, and no one can. The tragedy of our times is that we have used up all of our options and the questions basic to life are not being answered by wisdom. This is because life’s fundamental problems are theological.

More than revolution is the need for regeneration, taking off the old hostilities and resentments and putting on the attributes of the only Person who can make everything new. This is the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is Wisdom. “God gives wisdom and knowledge” (Ecclesiastes 2:26). Only He can bring relief to the chaos the world experiences. Let us remember that the world is a reflection of mankind. Until the human soul is regenerated, darkness remains.

The future does not hinge on the world situation, however grim it might be. It depends on what we do with what happened 2,000 years ago when Jesus died on the cross to cover the sins of the whole world. He shed His very blood and conquered death for each person who will receive His salvation. There is going on in the world today a quiet, bloodless revolution that brings hope. Listen only to the voice of the One who has the power to change lives.

Ephesians 6:10-17

In the old testament, a stronghold was a place of safety and protection from enemy attack. We frequently see the term used to describe God in David’s writings—as, for example, in Psalm 18:2Psalm 31:2, and Psalm 59:16.

A stronghold is also useful to the devil, but the kind he builds isn’t for refuge. (See 2 Corinthians 10:4.) Rather, it’s a prison to keep us locked in habitual sin—a place of constant deception and temptation.

For a believer, breaking out of this kind of stronghold may be difficult, but it’s not impossible. That’s because Christ has set us free from the dominion of sin, and God has provided spiritual armor for our protection. So why do we still struggle with habitual sin? The reason is because we receive temporary comfort, pleasure, and satisfaction from these ingrained patterns of behavior. However, any “benefit” is deceptive, and guilt and shame will eventually follow.

Just thinking about giving up a sinful habit brings some people to the brink of despair, even though they long to be free. But the Holy Spirit’s power is enough to enable any believer to walk out of Satan’s stranglehold and into God’s stronghold.
