Impressions Of The Heart…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. In just a few days Christmas will be here. Presents will be exchanged, cards given and the love of friends and family will be expressed. Some in person, some in mail, even during mask and social distancing the love that God has put in us will continue to flow.

Romans 5:5 Paul tells us hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

I love to share the Christmas message of hope. I had no idea when I re-dedicated my life to Jesus Christ the plan he had for me. Have you ever asked him about the plan for your life. Take some time this Christmas season. Sit quietly before him with a pen and paper and listen. Really listen. look up any Bible verses he gives you. Learn to hear the voice of your heavenly Father. His Word tells us his sheep hears and knows his voice. We need to learn to listen well.

I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these testify of Me. “But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. “I and the Father are one.” John 10:25-30

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for the plan you have for every life. You hold our days in your hands. Father, we thank you for communicating with us through the written Word, the Holy Spirit and speaking to us through impressions of the heart.

Lay on our hearts today, a lonely soul, a hurting soul, a homeless soul, someone to extend your love to. Father, may we listen well and respond with the overflow of love you have poured in our hearts. Amen.
