We are so very blessed by this message by Sister Connie Keyohara! Happy New Year to you Sister Connie and to all of your precious family!!! Love in JESUS to you all!!! We are so very thankful for you all!
God’s promise is true: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”

2 Corinthians 5:17

If you have given your life to Christ, you are a new creation and nothing can stop it.  And if you know Christ, You are part of God’s family, with brothers and sisters in Christ who love you.

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:15-17

The sin that so easily entangled you will start fleeing, once you’ve become a new creation in Christ Jesus.

Your interests should be God centered, as a new creation.

It’s like you’re getting a fresh start, a clean slate and a new beginning.

This is basically what we try to do at the beginning of each New Year.

A New Year’s resolution is when we resolve to change things, to change ourselves. To set new goals.

We should resolve to do the following;

Forgive people.

Start fresh in Christ.

Love more.

Pray more and know God better.

As this New Year starts, let’s keep in mind that every day is important on our trek through life.

Tomorrow is not promised. Let’s live like we mean business.

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Isaiah 43:18-19

We should want to make changes, we should want to make things better. We should want more of God, let’s not stay in the same place one more year.

Let’s consider 2021 a multiple-choice year, we get to choose. Will we choose joy? Will we choose happiness? Or will we choose to stay in the same nasty pit we’ve been living in?

I read this story recently and I want to share it.

Author unknown

There were two people applying for a better job and one of them had 3 years experience while the other one had over twenty years experience. The one with the least experience got the job and it irked the one with over 20 year’s experience. He asked the boss why he didn’t get the job and the boss said ‘You don’t have 20 years experience, you have one year’s experience 20 times.’

You see, sometimes we may stay in the same place and do the same thing over and over, and we just give it a new title or a different name. But it actually amounts to the same thing, Mundane, wasteful and pointless!

My prayer for you in this next year we are approaching, is that you would make better choices, that you would choose joy, you would choose peace, and you choose to trust God!

Many Blessings,

Connie
