I asked Pastor Andre Hernandez, pictured at the very top, if I could post his latest Facebook positing. It preaches what we face everyday! Thank you Pastor, I pray I meet you someday. I have Dear Friends that attend your Church, ABQ Revival Church, they think the world of you as I do. SOLID PREACHING! Thank you for your Facebook postings, we must not retreat from Facebook!
“She made him sleep on her knees, and called for a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his hair. Then she began to afflict him, and his strength left him.” Judges 16:19.
The enemy will come in an enticing, attractive, lucrative, way. He will appeal to what will satisfy your flesh. As a nation, even in the church, we set our eyes, our desires, so often on people, places, things, and not on Christ.
Our eyes must be fixed on Christ. Our desires must be His desires. Our passion, His passion, Our plans, His plans. We must hate what He hates, love, what He loves. Pursue, what He pursues, reject what He rejects.
Had Samson had discernment at that moment he would have saw what was coming and ran from it. Instead it took his eyes being gouged out to then see spiritually.
We need discernment.

My thoughts this morning……..
Years ago Pastor Barry Dickens taught me to tune out the “nothing noise” of the world. I hang onto that advice every second of my days as the nothing noise is at an all-time level. Pastor Garland Moore told me years ago when I was in a tough spot to “Always keep your eyes on JESUS. Do not turn to the right or the left…keep walking straight on toward JESUS! Do not let the world sway you, let God guide you and use your God given discernment. I do not know how people live without God’s precious gift of discernment.
Walk in the light of Jesus! Amen!

From Sister Shona Neff:
Love the “don’t turn to the right or left”. Learned that when studying in the Old Testament years ago. God told the Israelites not to turn to their heads to the right or the left as they traveled through the many territories during their desert wanderings. I never forgot that and it helps limit distractions that could cause me to get distracted and take my eyes off of HIM.
