John 15:13 ESV
Greater love has no one than this that someone lay down his life for his friends.
Today I write this Veterans Day message while thinking about all my Brothers and Sisters in the Armed Forces especially my own Family. I think about those who served, are still serving, and sadly those who made the ultimate sacrifice with their life. We also cannot forget about the families of these individuals as well as the parents and Spouses because they too should be thanked as the support team for the Veterans.
We know things we can never share, some have seen things that no one should ever have to see, we have strengthened each other, cried together, laughed together, cheered together, and eaten together, we were there for each other when no one else could be, and at times the only person that could say “I know what you are going through”. We not only serve our country when we are in the Military for many of us it becomes the stepping stone of many years of serving those in our neighborhoods, cities, towns, and States. Once you make that choice to serve you become a member for life, not just of a specific branch but more importantly of a United Armed Forces group of Men and Women who unselfishly for many made a decision to be a part of something powerful. To protect and serve our great Nation. So today I share this message to also say God Bless You all who have served. May God Bless you and keep you safe as well as your families. And we also pray for all those deployed around the world. Blessings and Safety on your lives in the Name of Jesus Christ.
