And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18
I am sadden to report to you that two of my Dear Friends have COVID. Please be in prayer.
Yesterday I got a call from Sylvia Hall who lives in Arizona, she and her hubby Frank were members of FBC in Reserve for several years before moving to Page Arizona. Sylvia was heart broken to tell me that he daughter Margaret, known as Midge, was in the hospital and very, very sick with COVID. Midge attended FBC in Reserve for a time when she was helping take care of her Dad. Midge is such a Dear Women of God. Midge is the Minot, North Dakota Hospital. Midge has encouraged me much in the past with words of encouragement through Facebook. We were just having a conversation several days ago using Facebook. Please pray for her healing and peace and comfort for Mom and Dad and Midge’s entire family.
Then last night I was tagged in a post by Brother Roger Cole that one of my best friends and mentor Pastor Richard Mansfield has COVID. Please pray for the healing of Pastor Richard. It has been a very challenging time for the Mansfield family as Richard and Cindy’s son Ricky is still recovery from that awful bus crash. Pastor Richard and Cindy also have been working so very hard in the opening of their new Church building. Please keep Pastor Richard and Ricky’s health in your prayers. Please keep Pastor Cindy in your prayers and the entire family and congregation, for peace and comfort.
Here is the Post from Roger Cole last night concerning Pastor Richard:
On Monday as I was visiting a grieving family from our church who’s loved one was murdered, unbeknownst to me and them, one of their family members had the Covid 19 virus. I received a phone call from that family today, November 6th notifying me that one of their family members tested positive for Covid 19. I immediately went to Albuquerque ER & Hospital and was tested and was told that I was positive. I will not be at church since I will be quarantined for the next 2 weeks.
Some of you were around me on Wednesday at the church open house. My symptoms are: headache, leg muscle aches, dry cough, sniffles and fatigue. If any of you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you might consider being tested.
The church has been completely sanitized and is ready for this Sunday’s inaugural Service at 10am. Everything is on schedule to open thus Sunday, November 8th at 10am.
