Did you have a great Thanksgiving? Did you sit around the table taking turns sharing something or someone that you are thankful for? Did you make a list or post something inspiring on social media? Well if you did any of these things that’s wonderful!
Now that we have that out of the way, let’s get to the title. “Don’t stop being thankful after the Turkey’s gone.” I think it explains itself, don’t you? As we step into our last month of 2020, I want to encourage you to not think about all the negativity from this year. We need to keep the spirit of thankfulness flowing this next month and into the new year. Think of the things that we should never take for granted, like Salvation through Jesus Christ, family, friends, jobs, Fresh air to breathe, love, laughter and so much more. If you have to, turn off the news and any other social media source that may affect your mood in a negative way.
So in closing I want to say this, life is to short, “If life hands you lemons….. make an apple pie!” Stay focused on the positive, be thankful and remember what God’s Word says:
1 Thessalonians 5:18 ~ “Give thanks in all circumstances for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Have an amazing thankful week! God Bless and Love To You All!
