8 Things to Be Thankful For …
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. The number 8 stands for new beginnings. This morning as I glance out my window and see the fresh blanket of white snow, I am reminded how Jesus takes our lives and cleanses us as white as snow. As I watch the snow turn to rain, I continue to pray for his healing rain on our world.
Here are some things we can be thankful for today. Life, Jesus, family, love friends, good health, blessings, happiness. Make your list of eight things to be thankful for today. Then take a red pen and write BLESSED on your list in bold letters or put them in your blessings jar. You have a lot to be thankful for.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed upon us. Although Thanksgiving may look different for people all across this globe, may their list of things to be thankful for keep them strong and their eyes looking to the hills from where our help cometh.
Father, we declare Psalm 121 today over the lives of your people around this globe today. We lift up our eyes to the mountains-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip-he who watches over you will not slumber; Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you-the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm-he will watch over your life: The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
